Owner and founder of K2 Funding, Theresa Kabot began her career in commercial equipment financing at a Pitney Bowes subsidiary where she worked the funding side of the industry from credit and documentation to sales and marketing. She then went onto establish her own leasing company in 1996 located Seattle, Kabot Commercial Leasing LLC. It was during this year that Theresa earned her Certified Lease & Finance Professional (CLFP) designation. A graduate of Colorado State University, Theresa is an active member of the National Equipment Finance Association, NEFA and the American Association of Commercial Finance Brokers, AACFB. She has served on the UAEL Board of Directors, volunteered on numerous committees with NEFA and AACFB, is an instructor for the Institute for Leasing Professionals and serves as Past President of the CLFP Foundation. Theresa presents across the nation on numerous topics including "Equipment Financing - The Key to Cash Flow".
